CORROSION

The resistance to corrosion is dependant on the choice of metal :

• Aluminium alloy,
• Stainless steel 316L (+passivation),
• Stainless steel 304   (+passivation).

Or on the choice of surface finish for steel (see hereunder surface finishing).

SURFACE FINISH

The standard finish are :

• blue or white zinc plate,
• yellow zinc plate 6 µ.

On request we can supply :

• zinc plating (green-olive, black, black zinc-cobalt),
• yellow zinc plating 15 µ,
• chromium plating,
• galvanisation,
• nickel plating,
• tin plating,
• epoxy powdering (RAL colour 1000 until 9018),
• black cataphoresis,
• alu-anodisation (colourless, champagne, silver…).

FINISHING

From the simple tribology to electro polish, through passivation.

HEAT TREATMENT

Steel hardening :

• annealing,
• atmosphere control or vaccum,
• austempering,
• carburising,
• hardening,
• nitrocarburising,
• quenching.
